magically appear

today i watered my backyard so that i could see rainbows magically appear. i spotted seven. and they reminded me of noah - the one who God remembered. and a smelly boat. and a rebellious people. and a corrupted earth. and a grieved Saviour. who thought it best to start over. who released the fountains of the deep. and all flesh ceased to brethe. except noah and his family and those smelly animals. and when the waters relinquished a covenant was established.

and i am reminded that His promises are concrete.

and that He is faithful.

and that His word is a sure thing.
